Resources :: GTAP Technical Papers Series

The GTAP Technical Paper Series is a refereed paper series documenting CGE models based on the GTAP Data Base and/or containing topics of interest to the GTAP Network. Please note that we do not accept unsolicited manuscripts; however if you are interested in contributing to the GTAP Technical Paper Series on one of the following areas or another topic of great interest to network members, please contact Terrie Walmsley and Tom Hertel to discuss the idea. We are currently interested in papers in the following areas:
  • How to incorporate firm heterogeneity into the GTAP Model
  • Modelling EU agricultural policy
  • Macro transmission in GTAP and real exchange rates
  • Non-tariff barriers - measurement and modelling
  • The impact of alternative methods for aggregating protection
  • Linking CGE models to PE models
  • Terms of trade and Armington
  • What makes a good CGE paper?
  • How to change the standard GTAP Model?
  • Documentation of global models based on GTAP
Please note that papers are expected to contain detailed descriptions of model code, as well as include the files required to allow the user to replicate the work undertaken in the paper. Models bearing the GTAP name should be documented through the GTAP Technical Paper Series and be made publicly available to the GTAP Network.
