"Impacts of WTO Agricultural Reforms on Farm Households in Rich and Poor Countries"
Authored by Thomas Hertel, Maros Ivanic, Roman Keeney and L. Alan Winters

This version runs a substantially modified version of the GTAP model designed
to explore the linkages between agricultural reforms under the WTO and the
distribution of income among farmers in rich and poor countries. Key modifications include:

1. Incorporation of factor supply and demand features from GTAP-AGR (see GTAP
technical paper by Keeney and Hertel).

2. Incorporation of AIDADS demand system for modeling consumer demand in each
country.

3. Incorporation of additional tax replacement instruments.

4. Farm household income module, with special stratification in USREG.

5. Povery module for looking at poverty impacts in 15 focus countries.
