"Modelling the Inclusive Trade Agenda"
by Chen, Shenjie and Charles Xiao

Abstract
This study is to assess the progressive elements of Canada's trade agreement: labour, gender, and age based on the modelling approach developed by Peter Dixon and Maureen Rimmer for the study of illegal immigration (2008).

The contribution of this study is to extend Peter Dixon and Maureen Rimmer's labour market module by incorporating gender and age elements into the labour market module.

The study also applies the labour market module to Canada's trade agreement. It assesses how the increase in jobs and higher real wages supports a broader sharing of the benefits of the agreement across Canadian society.
