Biography
Brad Gilmour has extensive experience working as a trade, agriculture, resources and policy analyst. He has worked in both the private and public sector on both sides of the Pacific. With his collaborators, he has employed his analytical skills to challenges facing the agriculture and resource sectors in China, Japan, Korea, India and elsewhere in South, East and South-East Asia. Brad has also maintained an active interest in resource governance issues as well as the role that demographics play in the evolution of the agriculture and resource sectors. He is the author, co-author or editor of a number of monographs, articles and books relating to agriculture and resource governance, demographics, Pacific Rim agri-food sectors and international agricultural trade issues. Through participation in the GTAP initiative, Brad hopes to deepen his capacity to analyze the linkages between different sectors, policies and developments within agri-food value chains and resource sectors world-wide.
