Biography I am an agricultural/natural resource economist with teaching and research experience from post-secondary institutes in Sri Lanka, Canada, & the USA. My research interest includes market and non-market valuation of environmental and natural resources, food and energy market analysis, applied econometrics & CGE modeling with special reference to a SIMPLE (Simplified International Model of Agricultural Prices, Land Use, and Environment ) model. Currently, I am preparing a research proposal to examine the impact of climate change on food and energy security in the State of Hawaii, USA. I am looking for a postdoctoral position in the field of CGE modeling. |
