Biography
Wasiu Akintunde is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Economics at Texas Tech University, USA. His research focuses on health economics, environmental and energy economics, applied microeconomics, econometrics, and industrial organisation. He is committed to interdisciplinary, evidence-based research that informs policy and drives sustainable development.
Beyond academia, he is the founder of Team Best Edu, through which he has trained more than 500 students in inclusive education and research. He also serves as the Global Youth Ambassador for TheirWorld, United Kingdom, where he advocates for Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).
