Biography Curriculum Vitae - Nguetse Tegoum Pierre Joubert I am NGUETSE TEGOUM Pierre Joubert, I am a Cameroonian born in October 1977. I am married and I have one child. I have a Masters Degree in Mathematics gotten in 2001 at University of Yaoundé I (Cameroon); I also have an Economist Statistician Engineer Certificate gotten in Côte D’Ivoire in 2003. I started working in 2003 in Cameroon National Institute of Statistis (NIS) of Cameroun where I took part in many statistics studies and surveys of which MICS 3 and ECAM3. In 2006, I was appointed Responsible for Studies, Junior Lecturer at the Ministry of Economy and Planning. There my work consists of conducting impact studies, evaluating programmes and projects; providing assistance to sectoral ministries in writing their strategic programmes. I am specialized in monitoring and evaluation, strategic planning; Poverty, Education and Labour market analysis. I am also good in sampling design and data collection. In addition, I am interested in macroeconomic simulations. As a researcher I am member of the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) and the Policy Economy Poverty (PEP) research network. I am author and co-author of many papers. In 2009, I was awarded the prize “Jan Tinbergen” of best young statisticians of developing countries. As a consultant I have conducted a study with the World Bank on “Poverty and vulnerability in Cameroon”. I have coordinated a work study funded by African Monitors on the construction on the Grassroots focus index , and I conducted a training on the assessment of MDGs at United Nation Economic Commission of Africa in 2009. |
