Biography
Dr. Fernando De Paolis is an Associate Professor of Policy Modeling and Data Analysis in the Graduate School of International Policy & Management, at the Monterey Institute of International Studies (Monterey, California). From 2006 to 2007 he was the Regional Economist with the Denver Regional Council of Governments in Denver, Colorado. He has taught Quantitative Methods and Regional Analysis at UCLA, and Urban Design and Regional Planning at the National University of San Juan (Argentina). Dr. De Paolis is also a Research Fellow with the North American Integration and Development Center at the School of Public Policy and Social Research (UCLA), and a Research Fellow with the CORE Lab at the Navy Postgraduate School.
Some of his research work has appeared in the North American Journal of Economics and Finance, the Journal of Economic Geography, Mercado de Valores (Mexico). Prof. De Paolis has contributed chapters to books on Trade Impacts in North and Latin America.
