Biography
Mengistu Alamneh Wassie is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, Center for the Study of African Economies, Economic Policy Network, Research Fellow at African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) and the Ministry of Finance, Ethiopia. His research focuses on development economics, trade policy, food security, and economic modeling. He is passionate about using computable general equilibrium (CGE) models and econometrics techniques to analyse trade dynamics, public investments, food security, and climate change policies.
