"Services trade data in the Global trade analysis project"

Abstract
This presentation begins with a description of the bilateral services trade data contributed to the GTAP project by CPB Netherlands, its integration with other trade data sources in the GTAP database, and GTAP satellite accounts relevant to trade in services. Turning to the future, we discuss recent changes in international data standards, alternative sources for bilateral data (including the World Bank's Trade in Services Database), a proposed refinement of the sectoral classification, and other opportunities for enhancement.
