"Will Br-exit lead to Afr-exit? General Equilibrium Analysis"
by Osman, Rehab

Abstract
Will Br-exit lead to Afr-exit? General Equilibrium AnalysisAbstractThis study evaluates the implications ofBrexit on the UK and the EU trade with Africa countries. That is to address the interesting question whether Brexitprovides opportunities for African countries to negotiate better trade alternative to the EU-African EPAs. The study employs a global CGE model that contemplates impact analyses not only for Africa trade with the UKand the EU but also for intra-Africa trade. The preliminary simulation results suggest that African countries would have good opportunities for better preferential access to the UK and the EU market. However, there are major concerns about the path of such negotiations.
