Abstract
This paper shows how the GTAP-RD model can be used to implement a baseline scenario that accounts for demand-side drivers of international trade. To achieve this, we use GTAP-RD’s twist mechanism to replicate the actual changes in global trade from 2014 to 2018 using the GTAP time-series data on top of a typical baseline scenario.
