"Chapter 8F: Botswana" by Simako, Lekoko Abstract Botswana’s National Accounts are compiled according to the 2008 System of National Accounts (2008 SNA) framework and International Standard Industrial Classification Rev 4. GTAP flows were prepared using data from Botswana 2016 SUT file. Output, Imports, Import taxes, Margins and Other taxes were prepared to match with the use table. Ratios from the product flows at basic prices were used to split the data among the use table variables. The source table was product by industry presented in millions of Botswana Pula. The source table was valued at purchaser’s prices. The structure of the source table was consistent with GTAP sectors except for sectors not produced in Botswana. |
