"Chapter 8R: Costa Rica" by Molina, Marlon, Diego Aguero, Henry Vargas, Gabriela Saborio and Arlina Gomez Abstract This document describes the contribution of the 2017 Input-Output (I-O) table from Costa Rica to the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP), version 11. Section 2 describes the source of data; Section 3 discusses the strengths and limitations of the I-O data. Then, section 4 shows the difficulties or anomalies in the raw data, and finally, section 5 shows the mapping between the 184 Costa Rican products to the GTAP sectors. |
