"Chapter 8Z: India" by Pratap, Devender and Rajesh Chadha Abstract This chapter describes the adaptation of India input-output transaction table (IOTT), 2015-16 for contribution to the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) Database version 11. The chapter is organized as follows. Section 2 describes key data sources, data template for raw data and early stage processing of IO table. Initial consistency checks in the IO table are explained in section 3. Section 4 explains sector classification of 130 sectors of IOTT. Data Processing is described in section 5. Section 6 finally enumerates the Adjustment carried out during data construction process. |
