Biography
Born in Turkey in 1985, Beyhan earned her undergraduate degree (BSc) in Economics at Ege University in Izmir and her postgraduate degree (MSc) in Agricultural Economics at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart. Currently she is a PhD candidate and research economist at the University of Hohenheim under the Institute of International Agricultural Trade and Food Security.

The research interest of Beyhan is the trade policy analysis via employing the computable general equilibrium model, GTAP as well as model specifications and modifications. Accordingly, the objective of her PhD is to design model linkages to analyze the effects of global agricultural trade liberalization at the farm level. In addition, she is also working on the EU enlargement and free trade agreements of Turkey.
