Biography
Curriculum Vitae - Said Ait Faraji
Said Ait Faraji is a PhD candidate in Quantitative Economics and Finance at the National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (INSEA), Rabat, Morocco, within the Gender, Applied Economics, Statistics, Demography and Sustainable Development Laboratory (LAB_GEAS3D), Center for Doctoral Studies in Sciences, Engineering and Sustainable Development (CEDoc-SIDD). His doctoral research focuses on the interaction between trade liberalization toward Africa and environmental policy in Morocco, using dynamic computable general equilibrium (CGE) modeling. He is currently Head of the Department of Multisectoral Models at the Directorate of Studies and Financial Forecasting (DEPF), Ministry of Economy and Finance of Morocco, where he leads policy impact assessments based on macroeconomic and CGE frameworks. His research interests include trade and regional integration (AfCFTA), carbon taxation, green fiscal policy, energy–environment–economy linkages, and labor market dynamics.
