Curriculum Vitae - Shadrack Mwatu
I am an accomplished, passionate, talented, and proficient Senior Policy Analyst with the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA), a government research and public policy analysis think-tank. I have previously worked with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) as Trade Policy and Programs Officer. I have experience in policy and research analysis, research-supported policy formulation and critique, policy and legislative advocacy, program design, development, and implementation, partnerships development, engagement, and management, and monitoring and impact evaluation. I have valuable experience in preparation of data collection tools, training of enumerators, supervising and coordinating fieldwork, piloting, actual data collection, data quality assurance, data entry and presentation, data analysis, proposal and concept note writing, technical report writing, serving as a rapporteur, development of white papers, policy briefs, position papers, dissemination of research output through seminars, workshops, and conferences, and organization of thematic conferences bringing together partners from the development community, government, and the private sector.
