"To CAP or not to CAP: The Role of Agriculture in the Turkey-EU Customs Union" by Acar, Mustafa Abstract This paper analyzes the implications of integrating Turkey's agriculture with the EU in the context of the Customs Union in a multi-country, multi-sector general equilibrium framework. The experiments include various integration scenarios from free trade area to customs union with and without agriculture. The effect of factor mobility and changing trade policy on various macro variables, revenue replacement and budgetary implications have been investigated. |
