GTAP Data Bases: What do you need to send us?
Once your I-O table has been completed you should send the following to Angel Aguiar to be checked.- Data in GTAP format (see format specifications)
- A mapping file (see mapping and concordances)
- Basic Documentation: it is essential that you tell us:
- the source of the data,
- the year on which it is based;
- the units it is measured in;
- whether the table is a commodity by commodity table and how it was transformed (industry/commodity/hybrid technology assumptions); and
- if the I-O table is of an existing GTAP region, a brief summary outlining how your contribution improves the I-O table currently being used in the GTAP Data Base.
- Full documentation: a chapter must be contributed to the GTAP Data Base documentation outlining the source data and any manipulation undertaken. A draft suitable for the website must be submitted at the time of contributing. This is required for the review process. The documentation should then be finalised within three months of finalizing your data contribution.
