Biography
Charles is Senior Advisor with the office of the Chief Economist in Global Affairs Canada (GAC), Co-founder and External Advisor with Infinite-Sum Modeling (ISM) Inc. and Senior Research Associate with Ciuriak Consulting Inc. He has extensive experience as an economist in Economic modelling. Before he set up ISM, he worked as an investment analyst and economist in the Pinebridge Investment in Hong Kong from 2010 to 2012.

Charles holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Centre of Policy Studies (CoPS), Monash University, Australia, and the designation of Charter of Financial Analyst (CFA). His doctoral thesis was developed under the tutelage of Professor Peter Dixon, a leading expert in the field. He has highly developed research skills with a particular focus on economic modeling, having practical experience in both building and teaching Economic models.

He published over 30 academic papers and two books. His research has appeared in academic journals, and been cited by the publications including the Economist, ‘the Globe and Mail’, National Post, and the Wall Street Journal. His clients include a broad array of international agencies, governments, and private sector organizations.
