Biography
Curriculum Vitae - Taoyuan Wei
Dr. Taoyuan Wei is a senior researcher at CICERO Center for International Climate Research. He moved to CICERO after receiving his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oslo in 2009. At CICERO, he has been responsible for macroeconomic modeling in interdisciplinary research projects related to energy, climate change, and the environment. He is a leading energy economist on the rebound effects of energy efficiency improvement, one of the key measures commonly suggested for climate change mitigation. His Ph.D. dissertation was on accounting for income arising from nonrenewable resources. He has worked on the input-output survey, accounting, and analysis at the National Bureau of Statistics of China.
