Biography
Curriculum Vitae - Jing Liu

Dr. Jing Liu's research explores the economic impacts of natural resources and environmental policies. Her recent work utilizes fine-scale applied partial equilibrium models and statistical analysis to examine nitrate leaching caused by nitrogen fertilizer use in the U.S. and evaluate policies to mitigate water pollution. She also investigates the food-energy-water nexus, with applications spanning water scarcity, sustainable agriculture, and the economic costs of extreme weather events. As the science coordinator of the GLASS (Global to Local Analysis of Systems Sustainability) project, Jing has led multiple international collaborations on innovations at the nexus of food, energy, and water systems, particularly with Brazil and China.
