Professor at Fundação Getúlio Vargas - FGV, Brazil from 2012 to 2019, and Professor at University of Sao Paulo in Brazil from 2003 to 2011. Has been working with recursive dynamic and forward-looking computable general equilibrium (CGE) modeling applied to cost effectiveness analysis of climate change policy, as also on the representation of land use change in CGE models and economic implication of biofuels. Also has worked with CGE modeling applied to trade policy and poverty analysis and agricultural economics.
